Tottenham Hotspur are searching for a new manager after Thomas Frank was dismissed on Wednesday, with the betting markets already shifting as speculation gathers pace.
Spurs’ slide had deepened in recent weeks and the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United stretched their winless run to eight matches. The north London club now sit just five points above the relegation zone, a sharp decline from the optimism that surrounded Frank’s arrival in the summer.

Frank joined from Brentford after seven seasons in charge of the Bees, leading them into the Premier League and securing two top-half finishes. His spell at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has lasted only eight months, and attention has quickly turned to who will take over.
Roberto De Zerbi is among the early frontrunners after leaving Marseille on Tuesday night. The Italian coach has attracted interest from several clubs and is seen by many as a candidate capable of reshaping Spurs’ style of play.
Former manager Mauricio Pochettino is also high in the market. The Argentine remains a popular figure among supporters, with many taking to social media to call for a return to the club he guided to a Champions League final in 2019.
Robbie Keane, once a fan favourite in attack for Spurs, has also seen his odds shorten. The former Republic of Ireland international is currently in charge of Hungarian champions Ferencvaros and is being discussed as a potential outsider for the role.
Other names in contention include Fulham boss Marco Silva and Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, both of whom have impressed in the Premier League this season.
Steve Freeth of bet365 said Spurs had been priced at 200/1 for relegation after their win over Manchester City at the Etihad in August, but are now 5/1 for the drop.
He added that pressure had mounted following a run of poor results and pointed to ongoing links with Pochettino and De Zerbi, while also highlighting Silva as a coach who could be on the move when his Fulham contract expires in the summer.
