Salah Transfer Odds – Move to Saudi Arabia Looking Likely

Liverpool have been plunged into full crisis after Mo Salah delivered an extraordinary post match interview following Saturday’s dramatic 3 to 3 draw at Leeds United. The fallout has intensified speculation that the Egyptian forward could be preparing to leave Anfield for good, with bookmakers rapidly adjusting their odds on his next club.

Salah, who remained an unused substitute at Elland Road, stunned journalists by openly questioning his future at the club and suggesting he has been unfairly blamed for Liverpool’s poor run of form.

Any MLS team12/1

PSG18/1

“I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame,” he said. “I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, and all of a sudden we do not have any relationship. I do not know why but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone does not want me in the club. It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus.”

The 33 year old, who has scored 250 goals in 420 Liverpool appearances, has not started a match since the 4 to 1 Champions League defeat to PSV on 26 November. Despite his dip in form, Liverpool have not improved without him and have won only two of their last eleven domestic fixtures.

Betting Odds Shift as Saudi Arabia Leads the Race

Following Salah’s explosive interview, bookmakers slashed the price on a move to the Middle East. Any Saudi Arabian team is now the clear favourite at 8/13 in the next club market. There is also a possibility that Salah chooses to remain where he is, with 13/10 offered on him not signing or agreeing a contract with any other club in the near future. Arne Slot odds to be sacked are also shortening.

A move to Europe’s traditional elite remains possible but none currently look prepared to rival the financial strength of Saudi interest.

A Goodbye Gesture

At full time, Salah walked over to the travelling Liverpool supporters and waved. Initially seen as a simple gesture before he joins Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations on 15 December, it now feels far more like a farewell.

“Yesterday I said to them, my children, come to the Brighton game. I do not know if I am going to play or not, but I am going to enjoy it,” he said. “I will be in Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to the Africa Cup of Nations. I do not know what is going to happen when I am there.”

Relationship with Slot Appears Broken

Salah also revealed that his relationship with manager Arne Slot has collapsed, leaving a possible return for Jurgen Klopp.

“I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden we do not have any relationship. I do not know why, but it seems to me that someone does not want me in the club.”

Only last week, Slot described Salah as a model professional after being dropped for the first time. But back to back benchings against Sunderland and Leeds appear to have pushed the forward to breaking point.

Liverpool’s Crisis Deepens

Liverpool are now dealing with more than poor form. They are confronting a fractured relationship with their biggest star, an unsettled dressing room, and growing external pressure.

With Saudi Arabia the overwhelming favourite at 8/13, Europe’s giants drifting in the market, and Salah openly questioning his future, the prospect of an Anfield exit has never looked more real.

Whether his wave at Elland Road was a temporary goodbye before AFCON or a final farewell may soon become clear. But bookmakers, supporters and football observers all sense that one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players could be nearing the end of his time on Merseyside.
