Strictly Come Dancing Odds Reveals Potential Shock Winner

George Clarke remains the bookmakers’ favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2025, even after a dramatic weekend that completely reshaped the competition.

Clarke is still odds on to lift the glitterball trophy, but Karen Carney has now drawn level at the top of the betting after a surge in momentum heading into the semi finals.

The latest twist came with the shock departure of Lewis Cope and his partner Jones, whose exit stunned viewers and judges alike.

Cope, widely regarded as the most technically gifted dancer this season and a five time leaderboard topper, fell in the dance-off to Amber Davies, whose high-energy Charleston earned a perfect 40.

The elimination highlighted the unpredictability of this year’s series, where strong performances offer no guarantee of safety as the public vote continues to dictate outcomes.

Amber Davies40/1

Carney’s rise in the market reflects a string of exceptional routines that have earned widespread praise. Clarke had dominated the betting for much of the competition, but Carney’s consistency and have turned the fight for the glitterball into a two way battle.

Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin also remain in the mix, priced at 16/1.

The pair have impressed with consistently strong technical scores, yet still trail the frontrunners. Meanwhile Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon, who have repeatedly survived the dance-off, remain outsiders at 25/1, despite fighting their way into the semi-finals through sheer determination.

Bookmakers view Balvinder and Caillon as the pair most likely to exit next, pricing them at 2/5 for the upcoming elimination. Amber and Kuzmin follow at 5/1, while Clarke and his partner Warr sit at 13/2, and Carney and Gu at 8/1.

Despite losing Lewis Cope, the top of the outright market remains unchanged. Clarke and Warr continue to lead the field after a superb Argentine Tango last weekend, with Carney close behind as the competition builds toward its climax.
